Our son is autistic and has severe pica, which means he puts everything in his mouth...dirt, rocks, mulch, you name it! Letting him play outside on his own has always been really stressful for us.
We're receiving rubber playground tiles through the Mar5 Gratitude Foundation and A Voice for Mikey, and we're so excited! He'll have a safe spot to play in the yard, and my husband and I won't be in a constant state of anxiety watching him. It's one of those things that sounds small but is going to make our day-to-day life so much better, and we're extremely grateful!
