Lifesaving support to a child in need.
This support was made possible through a partnership between A Voice for Mikey and The Mar5 Gratitude Foundation. Like many children with autism, our child is at high risk of drowning. Children with autism are 160x more likely to drown than neurotypical children due to their sensory-seeking love of water as well as their tendency to elope. Our five year old has started to say that he wants to swim in ponds or the ocean almost daily. We live near the ocean. The AngelSense tracker and subscription provided by these two foundations in partnership may save our son’s life. It also provides relief to us as parents living in constant fear of the unspeakable.
